In the San Francisco Bay Area (Silicon Valley) we have arguably the most congested freeways in the nation - second only to L.A. maybe. On those freeways, one of the worst negligence being committed is those sons-of-bitches talking on their telephones! >:-o
Don't get me wrong, talking on your telephone while driving, isn't fundamentally bad (at least I don't think so - others will disagree), I even do it myself. The line gets crossed by the morons who feel they still have to hold the phone to their ears! For god-sake people, use the god damned earpiece that cam free with the phone! >:-o It's a simple request, plug the little thing into the phone and stick it in your ear, or someone will shove it up your ass.
Every day, 30 miles to and from work, I drive two major Silicon Valley freeways (880, and 101). Everyday, I am hampered, impeded, obstructed, narrowly missed, and provoked by people paying too much attention to holding their phones and not enough attention to driving their 70mph projectile. It's extremely important to focus all of your attention on driving when there is all of about 6 to 8 feet between other cars on all four sides of you.
Some day, I am afraid that I will most certainly, intentionally careen into the next asshole I see driving 50 miles an hour in the fast lane, or piddling along in the right lane at 65 with no regard for those people entering and exiting the freeway. Let me be perfectly clear that when I see the horror on the face of that driver as my engine smashes through their window and knocks the phone from their hand, I will be justified and satisfied!
For the love of god! >:-o use the earpiece, it's so damn simple, it really is...
