In business (especially in my industry: software), we get a chance to deal with many different personalities. One of those that I have trouble dealing with are most marketing people. Of course there are exceptions, and I know a few, but most of these people are just downright slimy.
For instance, I have (on a couple of different occasions, involving different people) been privy to conversations involving marketers and sales people. The conversations usually go like this:
Engineer: "But you are claiming that our product does some thing it doesn't do."
Marketing: "I don't care."
Engineer: "You don't care?!"
Marketing: "No. By the time they realize it doesn't quite do what they want, they've already bought it. I've done my job."
